The Summer 2008 session begins on Thursday, August 7, 2008, and runs through Tuesday, October 28, 2008. There will be no classes on the following days:

Thursday, October 16

The Fall 2008 session begins on Tuesday, November 14, 2008, and runs through Tuesday, January 29, 2009 . There will be no classes on the following days:

Thursday, November 27
Thursday, December 4
Thursday, December 18
Thursday, December 25
Thursday, January 1
Thursday, January 15

Students will learn self-defense techniques without kicking or punching. Self-control and respect are emphasized. Students will learn to tap their inner energy and defend themselves by using the strength of the attacker. Classes emphasize body dynamics, throws, pins, and locks for men and women of all ages. Techniques involving wooden weapons (bokken, jo, tanto) will be introduced as well. Aikido uniforms (judo-gi) may be worn but are not required. Please dress comfortably.
Ages: 15 years and up.

Visitors and observers are always welcome during scheduled training sessions.
